Sonakshi was right. Hanumān indeed brought Sanjivini herb for Lord Rāma (and Lakṣmaṇa).

Sonakshi was partially right. First, she said ram then sita then Lakshman. then got trolled by a lot of people. let's Find out the truth.

Hanumān indeed brought Sanjivini herb for Lord Rāma (and Lakṣmaṇa)

Both Rāma and Lakṣmaṇ fall unconscious on the battlefield after Indrajit knocks them out with Brahmāstra. Sanjivini herb brought by Hanumān brings Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa back to consciousness.

The entire episode is very clearly narrated in Sarga 74 of Yuddha Kanda of Valmiki Ramayana. If only those relentlessly trolling Sonakshi Sinha for days themselves ever bothered to read Ramayana!

The question was also framed incorrectly. How on earth could only choose between Rama and Lakshmana when both were brought back to consciousness by Sanjivini herb? This episode illustrates illiteracy of general public regarding Valmiki Ramayana and over reliance on TV serials.

People are confusing the above episode with another episode in Sarga 101 of Yuddha kanda where only Lakshmana fell unconscious after he was struck by Ravana's arrow. As advised by Sushena,Hanuman brings Sanjivini again Hanuman brings Sanjivini herb TWICE (Sarga 74 AND Sarga 101).

Read Valmiki Ramayana again! Sarga 50: Both Rama and Lakshmana fall unconscious. Garuda heals them. Sarga 74: Both Rama and Lakshmana fall unconscious. Hanuman brings Sanjivini. Sarga 101: Only Lakshmana falls unconscious. Hanuman brings Sanjivini again.

Hanuman brought the entire mountain twice. On 1st occasion, he brought a mountain situated amidst Rishabha and Kailasha(६-७४-३१) or Rishabha (६-७४-६१) On 2nd occasion, he brought mount Mahodara. Sushena equates both mountains. They were probably neighboring mountains
